TERMS & CONDITIONS
We cannot wait to welcome you to Olive and Rose ‘O&R’ and will be on hand to help you with every step of your wedding dress buying journey but please also ensure you are fully aware of our Terms and Conditions set out below. Acceptance of our quotation constitutes acceptance of these terms also. Acceptance of terms is granted either by the purchase of goods or in writing with the intention of purchase of goods. . We would also recommend that you have wedding insurance.
GENERAL
These terms and conditions govern your use of this website: by using this website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of the terms and conditions, you must not use this website. This website uses cookies. By using this website and agreeing to the terms and conditions, you consent to our Olive and Rose use of cookies in accordance with the terms of Olive and Rose policy. It is strongly recommended that you read this document in full and keep a copy for your own records.

Goods means any goods, dress or gowns agreed in the Order Form to be supplied by the Us to You.
Order Form means the order completed between Us and You which shall be deemed to incorporate these Terms and Conditions.

You’ refers to the customer listed on the Order Form
‘Us'/’We’/’Our'/'O&R’ refers to Olive and Rose.

ORDER FORM
The Order Form shall be on these Terms and Conditions to the exclusion of all others. No terms and conditions contained in any confirmation of order, purchase order or other document provided by You or verbally, will form part of the Order Form.

The cost of alterations is not included in the price of the dress unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. Alterations are carried out by independent seamstresses; Brides are not obliged to use the seamstresses recommended by us and we will not be held responsible for any alteration work undertaken.

Once the initial payment of 50% of the purchase of your dress is made, the purchase is final – there are no cooling off periods, your gown will be ordered upon receipt of this payment on the date of purchase, we will not cancel any order, under any exceptional circumstances, and all remaining money owed will be pursued. Items that are made to order cannot be returned for a refund or exchange. All sales are final.

As each dress is made to order, we are unable to resell a dress to any Customer other than a Customer placing an identical order, and as such, we cannot accept returns on any basis including exceptional situations e.g. Pandemics and Cancellations of Weddings, of a change of heart or to be held responsible for a dress not fitting correctly due to fluctuations in weight, body size and/or changes in body shape once an order has been placed. Furthermore, we cannot accept returns where we you a request a change to an existing order and we are unable to fulfil that change.
Dresses with beading and embroidery may differ slightly in the amount/placement of the beading/embroidery to that of the sample dresses. This is due to the dress being handmade, material is produced in rolls and reasonable amount of difference is possible, as such O&R hold no responsibility for slight variations in fabric. Lace placement and draping can vary slightly with dress sizes vary.

Due to the delicate nature of the handmade fabric certain crepes and satins with contain variations in appearance, shade and in the weave, this is down to the manufacturing process and is out of O&Rs control.

Sizes and measurement will be taken by O&R at the time of purchase. Each of the key measurement taken will derive a dress size. O&R will use the largest measurement when ordering your dress. This will be agreed by the bride and O&R at the time. O&R will hold no responsibility for disagreements on sizing post this initial sizing appointment. Should a bride wish to order a size different to that recommended to the bride by O&R the bride will sign to agree that she is aware of the risk in ordering a different size, as such O&R will not be responsible for should the bride change her mind after the point of agreement.

Each dress is handmade and as such we will provide an approximate shipping date based on the designers lead times. These are approximate and as such the bride must understand this cannot be rushed. Time needs to be allowed for the process to be completed and your dress to be made to perfection, the designer reserves the right to vary this date should a delay in production incur. Alterations will not be carried out by O&R, as such we strongly advise that the brides build this into her required timescale when buying.

Due to circumstances out of O&Rs control their can be delays in transit.

Our designers reserve the right to ship a gown according to a wedding date not according to production timescales. Production schedules are the designer’s decision.

We will endeavour to provide the highest quality goods as standard, and these will arrive in a merchantable quality. Any wear and tear or depletion of goods due to use and wear and tear are not our responsibility and we will not be obliged to replace or refund.

SAMPLE SALE DRESSES
If buying a sample dress rather than a made to order gown these items are sold as seen. They must be paid for in full at the time of purchasing. Sample sale dresses are non-returnable once they have left the premises.

ACCESSORIES
All accessories must be paid for in full when placing an order. Made to order accessories are bespoke handmade designs and as such cannot be returned after purchase. We shall therefore only accept returns for accessories which are damaged or defective prior to final hand over. It is your responsibility to check the goods thoroughly prior to hand over. As these are handmade there can be slight variance in bead placement and tone of colour. Accessories sample sale stock sold have a return policy of 14 days for a refund or exchange, the item must be returned in a saleable as new condition.
