O&R operate on an appointment only basis. Each appointment is 90 minutes long. We will be on hand to assist you throughout creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience.

We will call you before your appointment to confirm everything with you. Below are some top tips for your appointment; Consider what underwear you will be wearing on the day. Our advice would be nude tones. All of the dresses have built in cups so a bra is not essential but if you feel more comfortable wearing one a nude strapless bra is best. We have shoes in our boutique you can borrow but please do bring your own with you if you prefer or if you have already purchased your wedding shoes. If you plan to wear your hair up on your wedding day, we advise you wear it this way at your appointment to give you an idea of how it will look on the day. We ask you do not use fake tan or wear heavy make up ahead of your appointment. We take pride in keeping our gowns in great condition for each bride that comes through our doors.

We allow up to 3 guests in the boutique at your appointment. The reason for this is brides can sometimes feel overwhelmed by too many opinions. Due to Health & Safety reasons children are not permitted in the boutique. We can accommodate babes in arms but do not allow pushchairs.

Our samples in the boutique range from a size 8 - 16 however our designers dresses are available to order up to a size 30.

Our dresses start from £700 and go up to £2,200 with most dresses priced around £1,500.

When you find 'the one' we ask that you make a 50% payment. The remaining balance will be due when your dress arrives in O&R, Final payment must be settled before collecting your dress. If you buy a discounted sample dress, we will need full and final payment from you on the day of purchase as you will take the dress with you.

Yes we do. We have a stunning range of veils and accessories. You are welcome to try these on at your appointment or book a separate accessories appointment. Accessories are paid for in full on the day of purchase.

We recommend you start your search at least 12 months before you wedding date. This allows ample time for you to find 'the one' and to allow for delivery and alterations. It is sometimes possible to arrange a 'rush order' on certain dresses but please contact us to discuss this and we will advise the options to suit your time scale.

We do not but we are happy to recommend a highly skilled local seamstress. Some of our designers will allow for certain alterations at the ordering stage for a small surcharge, which we can advise at your appointment.

We get asked this a lot, we do not buy second hand dresses. All of our stock is hand chosen by us and is purchased directly from the designers. At certain points of the year we offer sample sale dresses which are sold off the rack at a discounted rate.

This is a popular question! At present we only stock wedding dresses and accessories but if and when we plan to expand we will keep you posted.

Yes we charge a small consultation fee, £15 for a weekday appointment and £20 for a weekend appointment. The fee is for your 90 minute 1-2-1 appointment with our highly trained bridal experts, during which we will guide for through all of our silhouettes and styles and hopefully find you the perfect dress. You and your guests will be provided with drinks. Our aim at O&R is to ensure you have a brilliant experience whilst here and feel as relaxed as possible.

If you have your heart set on trying on a certain dress you have seen online that we do not stock please let us know prior to your appointment! With some of our designers there is an option to order the dress in just for your appointment for a small surcharge. Although this is not possible for all our our gowns please contact us before your appointment and we will advise if this is something we can do.
